Coming Soon & Keeping Cozy

seasons-and-salt-fall-look-2

You are probably going to hear this a lot in the next few days, but – I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week! Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday of the year because it’s all about the food and not about the presents. My husband loves Thanksgiving so much that he planned his proposal to me for the month of November.

With turkey day looming near, a lot of us probably already have holiday shopping on the mind. I am working hard at putting together a “Where to Shop” page for your guys that includes all of the ethical retailers I have come across in the last few months. There are more than I ever imagined! In addition to apparel there are so many wonderful companies that sell ethically made leather goods, scarves, jewelry and more. I have even found socks and underwear thanks to you lovely readers. :) So watch for that in the coming days.

A big “hello” to all the new readers this week! The lovely Franziska of Franish linked my Everlane T-Shirt Review over the weekend bringing in a wave of new folks. If this is your first time to Seasons & Salt, I’d love for you to say hi and introduce yourself in the comments! :)

What I’m Wearing:
Brrrr! It’s been cold lately, and I have been all about the cozy items like flannel and leggings. This top is super thick and has the warmth factor of a sweater. I bought it last year, but here are some current, made in USA options: try this tunic, or this top. My leggings are by Zella, and I love them, but they are not made in the USA. If I were buying leggings today, these bad boys are what I’d be ordering. They are domestically made, look super cozy have some great reviews. Shooties, by Frye (made in Mexico) and bag by Cuyana (made in San Francisco).

  1. Hi Andrea! I’m new today, actually. I just added you to my Feedly reader because I think we’re built similarly and I’m also a fan of minimal closets/capsule wardrobes/Everlane. It’s a good place to start! Cheers.
